Welcome to The Bexhill Festival of Music 2025
This is our 16th Annual Festival, celebrating Live and Local Music throughout the Town.
You will notice that our “Proms Night” at the De La Warr Pavilion has had to
be brought forward to Sunday 18th May 2025 and will start our Festival this year.
The Festival includes a full variety of performers and musicians, professional
and amateur, ranging from internationally and nationally renowned orchestras
and performers down to individual musicians, all committed to playing
wonderful Live Music.
At the centre of the Festival, on Wednesday 18th June 2025 at the DLWP, you will find the Schools Summer Big Sing. This is where pupils and students from our local schools and colleges get to perform in this internationally renowned iconic building, accompanied by live professional musicians. This goes to the heart of one of the Festival’s central aims – nurturing music with our young people.
Huge thanks go to Bexhill Lions for their financial support and attendance
at the Big Sing.
Our thanks extend also to Bexhill Town Council for their grant-aid this year. The Advertisers in this booklet also financially support the Festival with their sponsorship; our thanks extend to them and, once again, to McPhersons – our Accountants.
To all our friends at the DLWP, thank you for your continued support over the years as a crucial partner in delivering this Festival.
If you like what the Festival is doing, and feel you may have something positive to give, the Trustees are looking for another active member. Please feel free to contact Brian for a chat.
Hope you like our new addition – the centre-spread venues location map – conceived and designed by our excellent Graphic Designer Tony Lindfield.
We hope you will attend as many events as you can. Many are free to
attend and many raise money for local and national charities.
Brian Beeston
Chairman
