The Last Night of the Bexhill Proms with the Sussex Concert Orchestra

Featuring the Bexhill Festival Choir led by Lorraine Barry and guest soloist Helen May.

The first half of the evening will feature lots of popular music in ‘A Glorious Musical Celebration of Summer!’, featuring music by Vivian Ellis (Cononation Scot), Hugo Alfven (Sewdish Rhapsody), Berlioz (Villanelle from ‘Nuits d’Été), Mendelssohn (Midsummer Nights Dream), Welch/Bennett (Summer Holiday), Glazunov (Summer from ‘The Seasons’), Gershwin (Summertime), Rodgers & Hammerstein (June is Bustin’ Out All Over), Kenneth Roberts (Day Trip).

After the interval it’s time to wave your flags and sing along to all the prom favourites including ‘Follow the Fleet’, I Vow to Thee My Country, Sea Songs, Pomp & Circumstance No.1, Jerusalem and God Save the King. Union flags are available on the evening.
