Bexhill Library Presents: ‘Jacob and the Raven King’ a free musical storytelling experience for all the family – Saturday July 8

Jacob travels back in time to medieval Pevensey Castle where the king has descended into a deep lament after the mysterious death of his beloved white raven. The king is paralysed with grief and suspicion, but Jacob’s encounter with a travelling harper brings the magic they have all been searching for. Followed by an introduction to the harp.

The story has been adapted for two age groups.

11am: 2 to 7 year olds. Duration 1 hour

2pm: 8 to 11 year olds. Duration 1 hour

Sharon Elizabeth is a storyteller, singer, harper and community musician who has toured extensively both here and in New Zealand.
