Join this 15 strong ukulele band for a fun afternoon of music and song, performing a range of hits from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s and more. Any donations to Battle Food Bank.
Bodiam Concert Band -2.00pm
The band provide an opportunity for local amateur musicians of all ages to play in a Concert Band on a regular basis for their own enjoyment and for the improvement in their playing ability.
This is achieved through regular weekly rehearsals and by the occasional performance at local events. The Band is a not-for-profit organisation that supports other local charitable organisations by making public performances and/or making donations.
The Kukes – 4.30pm
The Kukes are an alternative folk/country/pop band, based in Bexhill, featuring melodic harmonies, ukuleles, melodeon, whistle, banjo and an eclectic song choice. Winners of the Ukulele Society of Great Britain’s Ukulele Band of the Year contest 2019.
The Other Band – 5.45pm
Performing their rollicking repertoire of Americana, country and blues, driven by mandolin, bass and guitar rhythms coupled with vocal harmonies.
