Recently\, Francisco was named an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) in London for his significant contribution to the musical profession and to the guitar\, in recognition of his distinguished career as a performer\, recording artist\, and cultural ambassador. \nThe event is free to enter\, with donations requested to help support the society. Some have been playing since childhood while others have come back to this beautiful instrument after a break of many years. \nSince October 2014 we have built a repertoire ranging from early music to arrangements of well known pieces. SUMMARY:Sussex Day Concert
DESCRIPTION:Sussex Day was first celebrated in Bexhill more than a century ago in 1917. Come along to the Coronation Bandstand and enjoy Sussex Day 2026 with music by two of Bexhill’s favourite local bands. \n12:30pm-1:30pm\nAlbatross Ukulele Band\nBased at the Albatross Club we enjoy regular social meet-ups at the club and playing for  fun to local audiences. \n2:15pm-3:30pm\nBodiam Concert Band\nA community wind band formed in the 1980s and now based in Hawkhurst. About 30 regular players meet weekly to rehearse a wide range of music under the direction of its conductor John Cornford. The repertoire it enjoys includes light classics\, selections from stage and screen\, traditional military band works and popular music past and present. The band performs at various events in Kent and East Sussex throughout the year and holds occasional concerts.

DESCRIPTION:The Bexhill Beach Garden will be having its second anniversary on the 7th June. The garden was designed to enable the physically vulnerable and family members of our community to access the beach\, and enjoy being close to the sea. It is an asset to the town\, and is a very special community space. The garden demonstrates the wonderful flora and fauna found along our coastline\, and how it contributes to the biodiversity of our planet. It also helps to reduce coastal erosion\, and contributes to the wellbeing of everyone who uses the garden. ‘Quattro’\, are a saxophone quartet who are delighted to offer an afternoon of music starting at 2pm. Refreshments available !! Let’s hope it’s a beautiful\, sunny day\, when the garden will be the ideal space to enjoy an afternoon of musical entertainment. \nWe look forward to welcoming you.

You can expect an evening packed with recognisable tunes\, dramatic scenes\, and high-energy performances that celebrate some of the most iconic entertainment of all time. \nWe are performing from the 3rd to the 6th of June 2026 at Little Common Methodist Church. Evening performances at 7:30pm. With its mix of music\, drama\, and nostalgia\, Brightlights\, Camera\, Action! looks set to be a highlight of the local arts calendar and a fantastic opportunity to support homegrown talent.
