In Beethoven’s ‘Pastoral’ Symphony, you can hear the very sounds of summer – birds, a babbling brook, a flash storm and a rainbow! The concert begins with Fauré’s evergreen ‘Pavane’ which featured as the ‘signature tune’ for the 1998 football World Cup!
